About Youth Field Days

The Gem City Outdoorsmen Club invites youth ages 6–17 to a day of outdoor education and activities at our annual Youth Field Days.
This free event is designed to introduce young participants to a variety of outdoor sports and skills.

Please note: All children must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the event.

Activities Include

• Fishing

• Fur Trapping Basics

• Trap Shooting

• .22 Rifle Shooting

• Air Gun Target Shooting

• Archery

• Fly Tying Demonstrations

All equipment and safety gear will be provided.

Registration

Pre-registration is required.
Registered participants will receive a free Gem City Outdoorsmen Club Youth Field Day T-shirt.

What to Bring

• Comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes

• Sunscreen and a hat

• Refillable water bottle

• Signed waiver form (provided during registration)

Food and Refreshments

Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided free of charge for all registered participants.

Parents and Guardians

A parent or guardian must accompany each participant for the full event.
Opportunities to volunteer are also available.
