General McLane Trap Team (GMTT): A Tradition of Excellence
The General McLane Trap Team (GMTT) is a leading force in high school clay target shooting in Pennsylvania. Open to students from 6th to 12th grade, GMTT provides a dynamic platform for young marksmen and markswomen to develop their skills and compete in the exciting sport of trap shooting.
Led by Head Coach Tim Snair, team members embark on a 13-week season filled with competition, growth, and camaraderie. Representing General McLane High School with pride, GMTT athletes train and compete every Sunday from March to June at the Gem City Outdoorsmen Club—one of the region’s premier shooting facilities.
As part of the Pennsylvania State High School Clay Target League, GMTT shooters face off against teams from across the state, demonstrating precision, focus, and sportsmanship in every round. With a strong commitment to excellence and a deep passion for the sport, the General McLane Trap Team continues to inspire the next generation of competitors, encouraging them to aim high both on and off the range.
