A Message from the President:
Anyone who knowingly or maliciously fires into either the frames or the target supports shall lose their membership to GCOC. Please control where you are shooting and avoid rapid firing that results in loss of control of your intended target.

MANDATORY GEM CITY OUTDOORSMEN CLUB RANGE SAFETY VERIFICATION

Several incidents of unsafe and dangerous firearm handling practices have been witnessed on the Pistol/100 yard Rifle Range recently. This disregard for basic firearm safety and lack of respect for club rules must stop immediately. These incidents of unsafe gun handling have placed fellow members in jeopardy, and fear of injury has been reported. lt is the duty of all members to police the pistol and rifle ranges to ensure that strict safety rules are practiced at all times.

Therefore, the Board of Directors has acted to institute the following rules and policies in addition to the Range Rules posted at the gun range. All members are to read this document and sign their name below to attest that they have read, understand, and will abide by these requirements while on the ranges. A Range safety Verification Card will be issued by the Board of Directors once this document has been returned, and must be carried along with your membership card every time you shoot.
